Real Life Computing: Learning to Make Herbal Teas for Different Diseases.
In a practical way they students have learnt how to make herbal tea for various treatments; such as flu, sore throat and cold.
Doc. Dr. Selen İlgün from Erciyes University, Department of Pharmacy, explained the use of plants in medicine. The activity was held in the first medical museum in Kayseri. Once we have had our selection of herbs, they were carefully mixed according to the recipe and percentages the pharmacist suggested. By following these steps and applying computational principles to the art of herbal tea-making, we not only expanded our knowledge of both computer science and herbal medicine but also gained practical skills that we can apply to our everyday lives.
